English water is full of limescale. This leaves residue in your shower, faucet, and other water-using appliances, making them less efficient over time. A water softener is the solution. This water softener uses salt and resin, providing a permanent solution against limescale in your water:
A water softener is installed after the water meter. We create a loop in your pipes, so to speak, causing the water to take a detour back to where it actually belongs. The difference is that this loop is anti-limescale. All the limescale that was in the water is drained off to the sewer via a drain hose. This means that the water throughout your home is now limescale-free.
– Sustainable solution: a water softener works by means of ion exchange. This is an effective method with lasting results: it also increases the lifespan of your appliances, meaning you won’t need to replace them as often.
– Good for skin and hair: a water descaler has positive effects on your skin and hair, making them feel softer.
– User-friendly: using a water softener means you have less cleaning to do in your home. Your bathroom and kitchen will be limescale-free, saving you a lot of scrubbing.
1. Contact: during our initial contact, we will schedule a time when the water softener can be installed. We will discuss which type of softener best suits your needs, so that we are immediately on the same page. We will also determine together where the softener can be installed. Together, we will look for the optimal location, such as the meter cupboard, a stair cupboard or a utility room.
2. Installation: once the location has been chosen, it is up to our technical experts. The water softener will be installed in the agreed location, after which it can be used immediately.

Depending on the job, we will send one or two engineers and the work will take one to two hours. After installation, they will explain how it works. The total time required also depends on how much drilling is needed. Would you prefer to install it yourself? Someone installing a water softener for the first time can easily take three hours or more.
